
“Soaring to new heights: The King Abdulaziz Falconry Festival 2023 secures its wingspan in history, clinching its third Guinness World Record as the largest falconry competition on the planet. Held in Riyadh from November 28th to December 14th, this spectacular event featured a stunning 2,654 falcons in a breathtaking display of avian prowess. Birds of a feather truly flocked together, competing for prizes exceeding SAR 33.6 million, proving that in the kingdom of falconry, records are meant to be broken. Organized by the Saudi Falcons Club, the festival’s ascent began in 2018, breaking its first Guinness World Record with 1,723 falcons, followed by another triumph in 2019 with 2,350 majestic birds taking flight.”
